Shao Yong was born in 1988. He received his doctorate in science from Nanjing University in 2015 and has joined the faculty at Nanjing university since then. He was promoted to be an associate professor in 2019. He won the excellent doctoral dissertation of Jiangsu Province in 2016, has published more than 10 papers as the first author in authoritative astronomical journals, and presided over the Youth Project and General Project of the National Natural Science Foundation.
