Personal introduction Biography

Feng Chen, an astronomy enthusiast since he was child, received his bachelor’s degree in Astronomy from Nanjing University in 2009 and master’s degree in Astrophysics in 2011. He did his PhD in the International Max Planck Research School for Solar System Science (2012/02-2015/06) and received his doctoral degree from the University of Goettingen. After a short postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research (2015/06 – 2015/12), He moved to Boulder, Colorado and worked as a postdoc first in the High Altitude Observatory of the Nation Center for Atmospheric Research (Advanced Study Program Fellowship, 2016/01 – 2017/08) and then in the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics of the University of Colorado Boulder (George Ellery Hale Fellowship, 2017/09 – 2019/08). He joined Nanjing University in late 2019.
