Yanmei Chen, female, graduated from the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in July 2009 with a Ph.D. Currently, she is a professor and doctoral tutor at the School of Astronomy and Space Sciences, Nanjing University. Since 2009, she has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Germany. She has visited the Department of Astronomy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Institute of Physics and Astronomy at the University of St. Andrews in the United Kingdom.
