摘要:Astronomical masers have been widely detected and investigated in various environments, including star formation regions (SFRs), evolved stars, interaction site of supernova remnants with molecular clouds and extra-galaxies. The inherent bright properties of masers make them ideal tracers to study physical conditions of SFRs and circumstellar envelope of evolved stars. Their motions can shed light on the kinematics and dynamics of host environments. In this talk, I will represent my maser work during the postdoc period in MPIfR.


I will show the detection results of nine methanol maser transitions at 3 mm toward ~400 ATLASGAL clumps. In this work, we (1) statistically study the relationship between class I masers and shock tracers, (2) study the properties between methanol masers and their host clumps, also as a function of their evolutionary stages and, (3) better constrain the physical conditions using multiple co-spatial line pairs.

In addition, I will show preliminary results of two on-going work about masers in evolved stars: (i) searching for off-plane SiO masers aims to study the kinematics of stars in the Galactic halo and stream; (ii) new strong submillimeter HCN lasers were detected toward IRC+10216.

报告人简介:
杨文锦于2014年获得武汉大学本科学位,2014-2020年于紫金山天文台攻读博士学位,期间在银河系内发现大量的I型甲醇脉泽,随后前往波恩马普射电所进行博士后研究至今。在射电所期间,她主要研究恒星形成区中甲醇脉泽和甲醇吸收线,并从事SOFIA/GREAT相关工作。她将于今年7月后在南京大学继续博士后研究。
