Abstract:Similar to the Solar System, extra-solar planetary systems may also contain planets with very diverse properties. As a result, although there exist multiple methods for detecting extra-solar planets, no single one is able to detect and/or characterize all the planets in the same system. We therefore need to combine the constraints from different detection techniques, in order to better understand the formation and evolution of planetary systems as a whole. This talk will present some recent works that we have done in this regard.
